Tour Tariff Includes:
Up & Down Train-fare (unless otherwise specified, Class II Sleeper). Bus-Fare (As long as it plies). Accommodation (Family-wise DB Room for 3 Persons & Extra Cot for 4 Persons). Food (Bed-Tea to Dinner, including Train-journey Food). Sightseeing - By Bus only. GST: As applicable, Extra as per Govt. rules
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ADULT: A Non-refundable advance of Rs 3000 towards 2nd Class and Rs 5000 towards 1st/AC Class Railway Reservation is the prime contract of booking a seat in the tour. Balance amount is payable strictly before 30 days ahead of the journey date.
CHILDREN: Below 2 Years: A service charge of Rs 1500, 2 - 4 Years of Age: 50% of Adult Tariff, 5 - 10 Years of Age: 80% of Adult Tariff.
Coolie for tourist's luggage / his extra luggage, Horse / Dandi-hiring charges, all Entry fees, Guide charges etc., are not included in the tour tariff.
Any rise in Rail / Air / Bus Fare, as effective on the date of journey, will have to be compensated by the tourist before departure.
Dates and schedules mentioned in the tour leaflets are only approximations, and are subject to alterations according to the circumstantial necessities.
Allotment of berth: Railway reservation chart will be followed.
Due to unavoidable circumstances, if the tour is cancelled, the entire advance value would be refunded without paying any compensation. But, if the tour is cancelled due to natural calamities / strikes or political disturbance, the tourist has to pay 20% as compensation.
A tourist must maintain proper time scheduling and wait patiently at the hotel for sightseeing program or be ready for departure for the onward journey.
A tourist who unwillingly or being late, misses the scheduled train or bus, may join the main team at the very next destination at his own means and cost. But incase he detaches himself willfully from the team, he will not be allowed to rejoin, decision of the tour operating manager in this regard is final and is binding.
The tour schedule may have to reduced / curtailed / postponed / extended owing to various reason or unforeseen causes on which the management has no control. The management would not be held responsible for delays or late or even non-arrival at a particular destination or site on the scheduled time or date. The same term apply while visiting a place of interest which might be found closed owing to daily or weekly closure. No compensation is however entertained.
Referring as above, if the tour period is extended, the company will bear all costs for the first day. From the second day, the tourist has to share the additional cost, if necessary by paying an extra rate of Rs 600 per day per head.
The management is neither responsible for fire / theft / accident of any kind, resulting to loss of property or of life nor will they pay any compensation.
Booking of a seat confirms that the tourist has accepted knowing clearly all the rules, terms and conditions of The Raj Tours & Travels and is satisfied with the same.
Cancellation Rules and Charges
In case a tour is cancelled / postponed by the management, an offer is extended for an identical tour at a later date. In case this offer is not acceptable, his paid amount would be refunded but no compensation whatsoever would be entertained.
For cancellation of booking by a tourist, only written intimation would be acceptable at the office and no telephonic or verbal request is entertained. If anybody cancels the tour after booking a seat, the amount should be refunded after deducting cancellation charges as per following chart:
No refund is allowed if cancellation is made within 7 days before the journey date.
M/S THE RAJ TOURS & TRAVELS reserve the right to accept / reject / cancel any booking done or proposed for, and / or add or delete any or all the stated terms and conditions any time without assigning any reason.
All legal procedure are under Serampore jurisdiction only.
